“We all know that buildings and artifacts live far longer than human beings,” says Dahuang Lu, NOUS xLab ’s curator. “That’s why we build museums to represent history, identity and beauty. But now, all these objects themselves are transformed into semantics and symbols. Data and Media are the new images we build for humanistic renaissance beyond temples and museums.”
About the Author: Dahuang Lu has been a designer and developer for over 20 years, studying where it began, and where it will go. He is the founder of WEME DAM Creative Agency , he is also a college teacher of art and digital media. Now, he is the data media curator at NOUS xLab and the supervisor adviser at ARTEXB , where he works with his team to turn contemporary art exhibitions into data media
